As a Black woman in America, each day when I walk outside of my Los Angles studio, I step into a war zone. A lot has happened in these past few years, but make no mistake- incidents much like the murders of Alton Sterling, Philando Castile, and many other countless Black and brown men and women are not new to the face of American history.
Everyone’s harping about the problem; we’ve (primarily people of color) established what it is and we can see it clear as day. Now, let’s focus on the solution(s). If you don’t have any in mind at the moment, the best thing you can do is to contribute to those who are strategizing, organizing, presented some of their own.
